South African award-winning DJ Black Coffee and his foundation have joined forces with Diamonds Do Good to bring better access to eye care to children across South Africa.

The partnership will support the Gift of Sight by Black Coffee initiative, which aims to provide free vision screenings and eyewear to children living in underserved and rural communities.

The Black Coffee Foundation announced the partnership with Diamonds Do Good, highlighting the importance of working together to reach more children who need access to essential healthcare.

“We’re proud to announce our partnership with Diamonds Do Good, joining forces to help take Gift of Sight by Black Coffee to more children and communities.

Through this partnership, we’ll be able to extend the reach of the initiative, creating greater access to essential healthcare for children and communities who need it most.

We’re grateful to Diamonds Do Good for believing in the vision and for joining us in building healthier, brighter futures for the next generation.

Together, we can reach further and create greater impact.”

Diamonds Do Good has awarded a grant to the Black Coffee Foundation to help expand the Gift of Sight initiative.

The partnership was announced by Black Coffee at the Black Coffee Foundation Charity Gala, held at Phi Beach in Sardinia, Italy.

The funding will help support a mobile eye-care programme that takes vision screenings and eyewear directly to children in communities where access to healthcare can be limited.

For many children, having clear vision can make a major difference in their everyday lives. Being able to see properly can affect how they learn, participate in class and engage with opportunities around them.

The initiative aims to address this need by bringing essential eye-care services closer to children and families who may otherwise struggle to access them.

Black Coffee has continued to use his platform to support initiatives aimed at creating meaningful opportunities for communities.

Speaking about the importance of the programme, the global music star and philanthropist said: “Every child deserves the chance to see what is possible for their future.”

Through its partnership with the Black Coffee Foundation, Diamonds Do Good say it remains committed to supporting programmes that create lasting opportunities in communities connected to the natural diamond industry.

For Black Coffee, the collaboration represents an opportunity to take the Gift of Sight initiative even further and help more children see a brighter future.
