As I’m writing on this beautiful summer day, the sky is blue, the leaves are green, and the temperature is warm. The topic is on change, which usually corresponds with fall and the changing of the leaves. Self-improvement and growth need not wait for the changing of the season. It should happen when we recognize that we are stuck in a behavior and we want to fix it. People often put off change to a later time, like next week, next season, or the ever-popular New Year's resolution. We often call that procrastination, but it’s actually called resistance.
