South African model and Miss South Africa 2015, Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni, and her husband, media personality and diagnostic radiologist Dr Musa Mthombeni, are celebrating a special milestone — 55 months of marriage.
The couple shared sweet moments from their life together on social media. Liesl posted pictures from their wedding day, writing, “Any excuse to share some wedding pics. 55 months married today. Best decision I ever made was saying yes to this incredible man. What an adventure the past 4 and a half years of marriage has been – I think we deserve a 5 year street bash in August.”
Musa also joined in the celebrations by posting pictures of the couple on vacation in the Philippines. He wrote, “Happy 55 months married my angel! Sekusele kancane!”

The couple’s love story began with a romantic proposal. Musa proposed to Liesl in June 2021 on a mountaintop in Durban. They soon shared news of their white wedding, which took place in August 2021. The pair celebrated their one-month anniversary in September 2021 and have been inseparable ever since.
