The club announced their departures on Tuesday following the end of their two-year contracts with the Club.
Ben Youssef joined Amakhosi at the start of the 2024/25 season, with Kaze arriving in October 2024. Both initially served as assistants to former coach Nasreddine Nabi, who officially left the Club in October 2025.
Under the duo, Chiefs finished the league in third place with 54 points, which is the club’s second best tally in the past eleven years.
During the 2025/26 campaign, they led Chiefs in 39 matches across the Betway Premiership, CAF Confederation Cup, Carling Knockout Cup, and Nedbank Cup. The team recorded 19 wins, 11 draws, and 9 losses.
With Ben Youssef and Kaze gone, Kaizer Chiefs have been linked with Krunoslav Jurcic, who is set to part ways with Pyramids FC.
Besides Jurcic, Amakhosi have been linked with Manqoba Mngqithi and Pitso Mosimane. The former is said to have handed his resignation at Lamontville Golden Arrows.
In terms of departures of players, the club has yet to make any formal announcement.
Kaizer Chiefs to lose Lilepo
It is however believed that Glody Lilepo could already be out of the club. The Congolese hinted his exit on social media earlier this week having joined the club last year for a fee close to R10 million.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the coaches for their dedication and contribution, and wish them all the best in their future.
More announcements will follow during the course of the next few weeks as we build up to the start of the new season.
