The Eastern Cape Rural Development Agency (ECRDA), under the leadership of CEO Simpiwe Somdyala, has actively participated in a Pre-Policy Speech Tabling Engagement alongside the provincial MEC for Agriculture, Nonceba Kontsiwe. The engagement serves as a preparatory forum ahead of the 2026/2027 Policy Speech, aiming to gather insights from industry experts, farmers, and key stakeholders.
