According to the latest fixtures, the tournament will kick off on 26 July 2026, a day later than the initial date of 25 July 2026. South Africa will be in action on the second day of competition rather than on the opening day as previously stated. The 2022 African champions will also now be based in Casablanca instead of Rabat, as initially announced after the draw.
