Supporting Our Kids and Ourselves This Back-to-School Season

No matter what age our kids are, back-to-school season brings a shift in routines, emotions, and expectations for the whole family system. While those shifts look different at each stage, our children continue to need our support in ways that change with them. Sometimes that means holding their hand; other times, it means listening from a distance, offering perspective, or reminding them that we're here. Our role is to stay close enough that they know they belong and we're in their corner, while giving them enough space to grow, make their own choices, and find their way.
