Tottenham Hotspur salvaged a 1-1 draw at Liverpool, snapping their club-record losing streak and boosting their Premier League survival hopes on Sunday.

Dominik Szoboszlai netted yet another direct free-kick to put Liverpool ahead, but Richarlison’s 90th-minute equaliser denied the hosts a much-needed win.

Earlier on in the weekend, Manchester City’s title challenge was dealt a blow as they drew 1-1 at West Ham.

Bernardo Silva’s goal was cancelled out by Konstantinos Mavropanos’ header, leaving City nine points behind leaders Arsenal who won 2-0 at home to Everton.

City’s struggles continued as they failed to break down West Ham, with Erling Haaland off the pace in attack.

The result leaves City’s title hopes looking shaky, with a tough run of fixtures looming.

Spurs, on the other hand, edge closer to safety, sitting one point above relegation rivals Nottingham Forest and West Ham.

As far as the race for the Champions League places goes, Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat against Newcastle leaves them outside the top five, with Liverpool occupying that spot. Manchester United sit three points clear in third following a 3-1 win over Aston Villa.
