Garibaldi Cocktail

We owe the Garibaldi to Guiseppe Garibaldi, an Italian general who had a big hand in the official unification of Italy in 1861. In fact, this drink also unites Italy — it marries Campari from the north (Milan), and freshly squeezed oranges from Sicily in the south. When the two intertwine, they make for a simple but beautiful cocktail that’s perfect for brunch or aperitivo hour.
