Xbox CEO Asha Sharma is officially pulling back the curtain on Microsoft’s future in the console space. In a recent post on X, Sharma revealed that the company’s next-generation hardware is codenamed “Project Helix.” Confirming long-standing industry rumours, she stated that the system is designed to “lead in performance” and, in a significant shift for the ecosystem, will natively play both console and PC games.
