Kaizer Chiefs extended their winning streak to four games with a 2-0 win over TS Galaxy after Orlando Pirates’ chances of dethroning Mamelodi Sundowns at the PSL summit were dealt a blow with a 2-2 draw at Richards Bay.

The Buccaneers, who were looking to take top spot, had to settle for a point, with Lebone Seema scoring an injury-time equaliser.

Sundowns, who have a game in hand, reclaimed favorite status and now lead Pirates by a point.

Chiefs, meanwhile, strengthened their grip on third place with goals from Flavio Da Silva and Glody Lilepo.

The win keeps them on track for a likely return to the CAF Confederation Cup.

Other results saw Golden Arrows beat Durban City 1-0, AmaZulu drawing 1-1 with Siwelele FC and Sekhukhune United edging Magesi FC 1-0.

The PSL continues on Wednesday with Magesi FC hosting Kaizer Chiefs.
