Actress, producer and human rights activist Nomzamo Mbatha made a glamorous appearance at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on May 17, attending the screening of Garance at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France.
The South African star walked the red carpet in a stunning gown designed by House of Marvee, the same fashion house behind the dress she wore while co-hosting the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2026. The movie stars Adèle Exarchopoulos as a jobbing actress and working-class woman navigating the instability of her profession, family tragedy, and a growing struggle with alcoholism.
Nomzamo’s appearance at Cannes once again placed South African talent on the global stage, with many fans praising both her fashion choice and her continued presence at international events.
