While a renovation usually begins with a stranger’s house, Taylor Hahn began this one with her own family’s: a Strada Vecchia residence bound up in generations of memory before it ever became a professional commission. Where most designers arrive free to reinvent, Hahn (along with House of Rolison co-principal Amanda Leigh) was tasked with carrying forward a home that had already meant something to the people who raised her.
