InteliGro has announced the launch of the Croplan® seed brand in South Africa, marking a significant step in bringing internationally established genetics to local producers. The first cultivar to enter the market is a white maize hybrid, which has undergone several seasons of rigorous testing on both research plots and commercial farms. These trials evaluated performance under diverse South African conditions to ensure reliability and adaptability. The introduction of Croplan® aligns with InteliGro’s strategy of combining global genetics with local agronomic expertise and field-based data. Producers will have the opportunity to see the hybrid firsthand at NAMPO Harvest Day 2026, where it will be showcased alongside supporting agronomic insights.
