Suspended Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) deputy chief Julius Mkhwanazi, businessman Vusimusi “Cat” Matlala and Chris Steyn made their first appearance in the Germiston magistrate’s court on Friday to face charges of corruption, fraud and defeating the administration of justice.
