Department of Agriculture Hosts SA-GAP Workshops to Empower Farmers

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, through its Agricultural Economics Services Directorate, recently conducted a series of South African Good Agricultural Practices (SA-GAP) workshops across the province. The workshops were facilitated by the Perishable Products Export Control Board (PPECB), which oversees compliance in food handling, conducts farm inspections, and issues SA-GAP certificates.
