Senior barrister are accusing the justice secretary of misrepresenting figures about rape cases collapsing in order to "push through" proposals to reduce the number of jury trials in England and Wales, reports the Sunday Times. The Ministry of Justice tells the paper the lawyers' comments are "completely misleading".
