Major updates on Travis Scott’s first signature Jordan sneaker have been unveiled today. For one, while they were first presented as the Jumpman Jack TR, the official name is now CJ1 T-REXX. Turns out that the TR stood for T-REXX and not Trainer as previously thought. Despite this name change, the box label still reads Jumpman Jack TR.
Raffle for the “Dark Mocha” colorway in full family sizes launched today on the Travis Scott website, while the raffle for the “University Red” colorway will take place tomorrow, May 10th. A Cactus Jack T-REXX apparel collection and collaborative signature apparel collection with Jordan Brand has also been made available.

Travis Scott’s release of the T-REXX is accompanied by two campaign videos directed by Gabriel Moses. The first is titled “YE and THE JACK” and features Ye himself as well as a snippet of an unreleased Travis Scott x Ye song. The second, “THE FAM FOR THE JACKS,” features Ye and Travis Scott’s children, all wearing kids sizes of the “Dark Mocha” T-REXX.
The CJ1 T-REXX was designed to Travis Scott’s exact specifications and features a mix of full-grain leather, nubuck, and canvas, across its upper. The shape draws inspiration from Nike’s Air Trainer line, with features including a rubber-wrapped sidewall for stability and a forefoot strap for containment. Travis Scott logos and graphics are found throughout the shoe, including a wear-away “Jack” graphic on the outsole, “Crown” logo on the tongue, Cactus Jack smiley logo on the heel, and his signature reverse Swoosh. The “TS” logo on the strap uses 3-D embroidery to provide a tactile grip for quick adjustments.
