Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau played 90 minutes in the second leg in Cairo after featuring for 45 minutes in Lubumbashi.Remarkably, it is the fifth straight Champions League final for Al Ahly.For Tau, it is an opportunity to win a third Champions League title, having previously clinched it with Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016 and then with Al Ahly last term.The former Sundowns star holds the record as the only South African footballer to have won this competition twice and he could extend that record should the Cairo giants prevail over Esperance.

After completing the continental task on Friday, the Egyptian heavyweights now switch focus to domestic duties before they meet Esperance over two legs on May 18 and 25.Ismaily are their next opponent on Wednesday in an Egyptian Premier League match.
