Kaizer Chiefs appear to have already decided on the future of one of their internationals as his contract nears expiry.
Mozambican defender Edmilson Dove has been met with silence regarding the extension of his deal that runs up at the end of June.

Dove joined Chiefs at the beginning of the 2022/23 season on a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old delivered 25 appearances in his first season playing as a left-sided central defender while plugging in at left-back as and when need arose.
Unfortunately, Dove will not be able to improve on his game-time minutes this season having only played 12 games so far with only a third of the campaign left to play.
Dove has missed the last two games due to a red card suspension and will be available for selection this weekend when the Glamour Boys visit his former club Cape Town City.
Through working his way back to the team, the dreadlocked man also has contract worries.
Chiefs have not engaged him with regards to a new deal, giving the strongest hint that he will not be needed in the new season.
This situation means Dove must look out for his next deal.
There has been mention of opportunities in the Middle East, while his former club UD Songo remains interested, even though they will only offer a contract that doesn’t match what he is on at Naturena.

Chiefs have another left-footed centre-back, Aiden McCarthy, in the squad as cover, while Thatayaone Ditlhokwe is first choice when fit.
The anticipated departure of Dove will free up a foreign space, giving the club widened options in recruiting for the new season.
